First International Independent Aftermarket Conference

Assembly of national society that should be formed by participants of independent spare parts market is one of the most important message of  First International Independent Aftermarket Conference  that is being dedicated to independent spare parts market in Southeast Europe.

Conference was held in Belgrad’s Metropol Palace hotel and gathered more than 230 representatives of companies from this area, which operate in more than 20 countries in Europe. More than 40 journalists from 5 countries of Southeast Europe attended this Conference.


“Joining companies on national level, no matter on singular memberships in some domestic or international association, represents the best way to overcome all obstacles which were set before manufacturers and automotive parts dealers,” said Hartmut Röhl, president of National Society of Automotive Parts in Germany and International Union of Automotive Parts Dealers, and he added: “Reason for that is in easier access to actual and current information, technical trainings and education.”

Big part of Conference was dedicated to current trends on International spare parts market. It is rated that electronic store is more and more  important, and also that logistical superiority and technical training are the biggest competitive advantage on market.

“I think that there is big need for regular organization of this types of meetings, so everybody on market is being notified on time about current trends in industry, ” said Karsten Schüßler Bilstein, CEO of Bilstein Group and he also said: “Exchange of information about key subjects and topics, like actual trends in our branch is providing new opportunities for improvement of production process or sales, especially for small companies.”

As spokesmen and lecturers, the most eminent international experts from this area , attended this conference.
